Starting today and throughout October my art can be seen all around Memphis.
First up- Friday (October 8th) I’ll be part of the Project Sketchbook 2010 Exhibition at the Adam Shaw Studio (2547 Broad Avenue).
Admission is free and the show will run for two weeks at Adam’s studio.
Friday is the fall Broad Avenue Art Walk.
I’ll have my “Monsterpieces” sketchbook on display with over 70 other artists from 6-10pm.
Speaking of monsters- Haunted Web of Horrors haunted house opens Friday night, too!
I painted a few new 3-D murals and worked on some other scenes in the Dark Matter half of the haunt.
Haunted Web is off Germantown Parkway in the Trinity Commons Shopping center and is two haunts in one!
It’s a lot of fun and proceeds from the haunt goes to help support Youth Villages.
Last year Haunted Web was voted the best haunted attraction in Memphis!

Starting next Friday (October 15) I’ll have several Sherlock Holmes paintings on display at Theatre Memphis in east Memphis off Perkins and Southern.
The show is titled Elementary: The Many Faces of Sherlock Holmes and I’ll have an artist’s reception on Wednesday, October 2oth from 6-8pm.
The paintings are black and white airbrushed portraits of different actors as Holmes from over the years.
My art show will be on display in the lobby and run in conjunction with their play Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure.
And don’t forget that in the recent issue of Airbrush Action Magazine I’ve got a two page spread featuring my “Monsterpieces” from last year’s Halloween art show.
The fall Sept/Oct issue is on stands now, or can be found at Airbrush Action’s website.
Hope to see you around town- and have a great October!
“Beast Wishes!”
