Hey, gang- I’m back with more “Trilogy Of Horror” sketchcards. This time they’re from the movie “The Slasher Nurse“..!
“After a prank goes wrong, one person is left dead and another institutionalized. Ten years later, a group of friends are partying at a cabin in the woods unaware that a deranged psychiatric patient has escaped and is hell bent on revenge.” (Click HERE to watch the trailer on YouTube.)
These four hand-drawn sketchcards were done on official RRParks Cards blanks.
I drew these with a yellow #2 pencil. It’s usually my usual got to drawing tool. They’re inexpensive, easy to find, I like the HB lead, can be sharpened to a nice point, and tend to have a good eraser.
I use a variety of Copic markers, Ohuhu markers, Touch New markers, Weisbrandt markers, Letraset markers, and Prismacolor markers, and like to use an 03 Pigma Micron pen for my black linework.
I used a white Gelly Roll pen and Prismacolor pencil for my highlights.
When I finished the drawings I sprayed the cards with a light coat of Krylon Spray Fixative. I recommend taking them outside to spray, or an open and well ventilated room.
These fun “Trilogy Of Horror” sketchcards were part of a recent Kickstarter by RRParks Cards.
I love a horror movie that has clowns AND a scary monkey in it!
Which reminds me- be sure to come back on Monday for my “Psycho Ape Pt.2” sketchcards– they’re bananas!
And don’t forget that I have several of my personal sketchcards for sale out at The Cellar Table Top Games & Comics on Bartlett Blvd. near Bartlett Park.
